“SEE YOU AT THE POLE” CHRISTIAN YOUTH PRAY FOR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY

On Wednesday, September 27, 2006, students across the nation gathered around their school flagpoles for “See You at the Pole” day. There they experienced a demonstration of the power of prayer.

At 7:30 a.m. students at Santa Fe High School gathered at their flagpole to pray for their school, their teachers and each other. The flag was raised as students began to filter into the group. By the time school started, a dozen students were praying. A young girl brought her guitar and offered songs of praise to start the day.

At the Cross of the Martyrs in Marcy Park over looking the city of Santa Fe, Christian Home School Fellowship students sang songs of praise, prayed, and recited psalms and other passages of scripture.

It was a wonderful start to a wonderful day in Santa Fe – an expression by remarkable young students that Jesus is Lord in Santa Fe.
